Mazda CX-5 Review
It's not surprising that the CX-5 accounts for such a high proportion of Mazda’s sales- it's relatively good looking, spacious, practical and fun to drive for such a big car – and it gets a thumbs up from us.
The highly-capable Mazda CX-5 is one of the most stylish and popular SUV crossovers in the market and makes a great choice for lease customers.
The CX-5 comes extremely well-equipped as standard, with Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Dual-zone climate control air-conditioning as well as Front & rear parking sensors included on base SE-L models. Meanwhile there’s a host of engines to choose from, including a frugal 2.2 litre diesel that’ll return close to 50 mpg.
The Mazda CX-5 is a mid-size SUV and the largest vehicle currently on offer from the historic Japanese brand - sitting above Mazda’s CX-30 and MX-30. At first glance, the exterior of the CX-5 showcases a stylish and highly modern appearance. But it's inside where this fantastic car comes to life, thanks to some impressive technology and a strong line-up of standard equipment.
With plenty of room for passengers and an impressive 506 litre boot, it’s also a practical lease choice, and a great alternative to the Volvo XC60 or Ford Kuga. Whether you need a vehicle to take the kids to school, or for those all-important weekend adventures, a Mazda CX-5 lease represents a versatile car choice that’s perfect for multiple lifestyles.

In simple terms, leasing is the single most cost-effective and hassle free method of driving a brand-new car, and with Select Car Leasing you can be sure that you are in safe hands.
If you’re looking for a family-sized SUV, then the Mazda CX-5 may not be a vehicle you’d previously considered. But it’s proved very popular indeed – and so has leasing, which continues to be on the increase as the best way to get the car you want at a price you can afford. Spreading out your payments monthly, rather than splashing out for a vehicle upfront, helps ease the pressure and could provide you with a better or newer car than you might otherwise have bought. What's more, you won't need to worry about depreciation, as we'll take care of that after the lease is over. So have a look around our website to see what's on offer.

Mazda is a manufacturer that makes safe cars, and the CX-5 is no different in that regard. It was put through its paces by the European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP) and earned impressive ratings in all the categories it was tested for. In addition, the Mazda has plenty of safety systems on board designed to reduce the likelihood of an accident even occurring. Inside, it is roomy, resulting in a relaxing journey for you, your passengers and all their shopping, thanks to a capacious boot that is a match for its rivals.
There are several trim levels available on the Mazda CX-5, in addition to many options for the engine. There are also two and four-wheel drive variants available, aimed to cater to those who want maximum levels of grip and performance and those who want to prioritise comfort and fuel economy. The number of features available increases as you go up through the trim levels, too. To start narrowing down your shortlist of options, have a look at our website to see which trim and engine best suits your tastes and budget.
I had a great experience and good customer service from Garry Rahman, from the moment I enquired for a car quotation to delivery. He is professional, respectful and answered all my questions very patiently. There was no pressure to take a decision in haste which I really liked. He explained all my options clearly and made the entire car buying experience smooth and hassle free. I definitely recommend Garry to anyone who is looking to buy a car. Thank you Garry.
Efficient and professional team
This is the third lease company I’ve used, but in terms of the ordering process, the communication, the documentation and the speed of delivery I would have to place Select first for customer service. I also secured a great price (for a Hyundai Tucson) as well as having the flexibility of not needing to pay a deposit, which made the deal very attractive. However, I’m fully aware that you can’t truly judge a car leasing company until the end of the contract when the car is being returned, as that is what genuinely separates one leasing company from another. On that basis, my rating is based on the relationship to date. The delivery of the car itself was one area where I have experienced a superior service from another lease company. The company in question would deliver their cars on a transporter so the cars were delivered to my house in immaculate condition with something like 20 miles on the clock. The car I received a few days ago was driven about 100 miles to my home, on a rainy day in December, so it was handed over to me dirty. A relatively minor point.
